Deb Lashua is a photographer who recently moved from New Hampshire to Punta Gorda, FL. She has been interested in nature photography for decades. She began working with film photography and now enjoys the almost instant gratification of digital photography.

Her photographs focus on her passion for capturing nature. She uses photography as a means to document the world around her. Her goal is to create photographs that document the environment around her. She believes that a successful image shows, in a potent way, something you either see every day or something you've never noticed before and does so in a way that resonates emotionally.

Deb has found that a mix of patience and spontaneity are necessary to capture amazing images of animals. She enjoys and appreciates photographing landscapes - works that allow her to illustrate splendid views. She knows that she has done her job as an artist if her photographs capture the wonders of Mother Nature. Her work, whether it be landscapes or animals, is most successful when it speaks to celebrating the richness of life. When people see her work, she'd like them to feel that moment of shared emotion and experience.

She is a past member of New Hampshire Society of Photographic Artists and Women’s Caucus for Art NH and New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association.
